The products do not comply with Australian Standard AS1926.1 2012 Safety Barriers for Swimming Pools section 2.4.2.1 (b). If the gate is open, turning the key in the striker component of the gate latch may cause the gate to remain locked in the open position.
The product failed the requirements of the ban on baby dummy chains with unsafe decorations, 'Consumer Protection Notice No. 34 of 2011'. Small parts are able to be detached.
