The Vernier Go Direct Charging Station is designed to charge the Vernier Go Direct Wireless Educational Sensors.
Why it was recalled
A short circuit can occur in the charger when multiple wand-style GDX wireless educational sensors with damaged electrical contacts are plugged into the charging station. This can cause the charger to overheat and catch fire. Incidents have occurred.
Hazard
There is a risk of a serious burn injury and/or property damage if the charging station overheats and catches fire.
