Information added that an incident has occurred.  Auto belay climbing devices Affected models: iQ LT iQ XL iQ+ LT iQ+ XL iQ devices are grey with blue handles and a grey sash on the front cover. iQ+ devices are grey with blue handles and have an added catch and hold brake on the front. LT (12.5 m) versions are identified by a blue tag above the hand grip. XL (20 m) versions are identified by a purple tag above the hand grip. Product serial numbers can be found printed on the device’s handle as well on the bottom of the device. Identifying features description The recalled auto belay devices have a serial number within the following serial number ranges printed on the device’s handle as well on the bottom of the device. TRUBLUE iQ LT (12.5 m) iQ0014492 through iQ0036407 and iQ0041591 through iQ0044486 TRUBLUE iQ XL (20 m) iQXL01283 through iQXL02678 and iQXL01283 through iQXL03425 TRUBLUE iQ+ LT (12.5 m) iQP00110 through SNiQP00161 TRUBLUE iQ+ LT (12.5 m) iQP000164 through iQP000356 and iQP000401 through iQP000422 TRUBLUE iQ+ XL (20 m) iQXLP0104 through iQXLP0182 and iQXLP0104 through iQXLP0215

Why it was recalled

The auto belay device can fail to retract when used.

Hazard

There is a risk of death or serious injury from a fall if the device fails to retract. An incident has occurred.
