The product that is the subject of the recall is the Ryobi cordless line trimmer/brush cutter model no. RBC3600E which is also included in a kit version sold as model no. RBC3626E (both include blade attachment RAC1101). Identifying features description Model no. RBC3600E Model no. RBC3626E Both models include blade attachment RAC1101.
Why it was recalled
If the nut securing the blade is not tightened correctly before use the blade may detach.
Hazard
If the blade detaches during use, this poses a serious laceration hazard to consumers.
