Why it was recalled
The chain brake may not activate correctly if wood chips or debris accumulate, and the chainsaw is not cleaned and maintained regularly as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
Hazard
Risk of serious injury from laceration if the chain brake does not activate during a kickback. Incidents have occurred overseas.
