Flaw Chek Step 3 Remover Product Code 19013503, 19013599 (Kit) Batch Numbers 36919 & 37449 Aerosol product sold in single units and four part kit. A specialised industrial product used by welders and toolmakers. May also be used by home welders.
Why it was recalled
Two batches of the product (36919 and 37449) may contain an incorrect gasket that is incompatible with the contents of the product.
Hazard
The gasket deteriorates to the point where the product can leak or leak upon activation - this can occur 3-4 months after manufacture. If affected aerosol spray is used, the can may release all of the contents of the can in an uncontrollable continuous flow until the can empties. This presents a risk of users coming into contact with the product.
