Fixed Bolt Bracket made from PLX Steel for rock climbing anchors The affected products have a batch number between 0116 and 2216 & the first two figures are between 01 and 22 and the last two are always 16.
Why it was recalled
Affected products have a very high and unusual tendency towards oxidation in marine environments.
Hazard
Highly corroded anchors may fail and although there is redundancy in climbing anchor systems, injury may occur.
