Why it was recalled
The product does not comply with the labeling requirements of Consumer Protection Notice No. 2 of 2009 - Consumer Product Safety Standard: Flotation Toys and Aquatic Toys because it is not marked with the required warnings. The regulation requires aquatic toys to be permanently marked with the following warning in a contrasting colour: WARNING - AQUATIC TOY- USE ONLY UNDER SUPERVISION.
Hazard
If adults do not properly supervise children whilst they are using the product, there is an increased risk that drowning may occur.
