Why it was recalled
The Bromic stove and the hot water system (either Smarttek or Country Comfort) mounted in the camper trailers were fitted in breach of AS/NZS 5601.2:2013 Gas installations - LP Gas installations in caravans and boats for non-propulsive purposes. The products were fixed to the camper trailers and were not installed by an authorised gas fitter.
Hazard
As the products are fixed instead of portable, the camper trailers do not meet the requirements of the Standard.
