A ceiling hoist used to help lift and move people who have limited mobility, for example from a bed to a chair. They involve a track attached to the ceiling from which a carry bar is suspended. Models Affected: 360741, 360750, 360751, 360755, 360755 Rev B, 360756, 360757 (identifiable by a black plastic swivel/puck). ARTG Number: 169639
Why it was recalled
The carry bars are attached to the track using a plastic swivel which may break if damaged.
Hazard
If the plastic swivel becomes damaged it may separate from the carry bar, resulting in a patient fall.
