Why it was recalled
The cot does not comply with the mandatory Australian standard, AS/NZS 2172:2003 Cots for household use—safety and performance requirements. There were multiple failures related to labelling and non-compliance with the requirements for drop sides of cots.
Hazard
The cot failed to comply with the various design, safety and performance and marking requirements of the mandatory standard, and poses an entrapment hazard.
