Why it was recalled
Polaris has determined that on some Model Year 2023-2024 RANGER XP Kinetic vehicles, a crack may develop on part of the charging system. The crack may allow water to contact live parts of the high voltage charging system and cause a short circuit while the vehicle is being charged.
Hazard
Risk of serious injury or death from fire if a short circuit occurs while the vehicle is charging.
