No. The free check reads an exported product CSV in your browser. It does not request Shopify credentials or change products.
What catalogue fields are checked?
RecallMatch uses product titles, vendors, variant names, SKUs, model numbers and barcodes when those columns are present.
Does a possible match mean I must remove a product?
No. It is a review signal. Confirm the product identifiers and instructions in the linked official recall notice before acting.
Is the first report really free?
Yes. There is no payment step for the browser scan or emailed report. Ongoing monitoring is optional.
