4 Yo-Yo animal puffer balls comprising of rabbit, duck, fish and elephant shapes

Why it was recalled

The product does not comply with the mandatory safety standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age (Consumer Protection Notice No. 14 of 2003, as amended by Consumer Protection Notice No. 1 of 2005). The squeaker can detach and become a choking hazard. The product also has an elastic cord capable of extending at least 500mm in length. These types of products are banned under Consumer Protection Notice 20 of 2011 - Permanent ban on yo-yo water balls.

Hazard

Small parts if detached from the product pose a potential choking hazard to children under the age of 36 months. The elastic cord can stretch to over 500mm in length and may wind around a child's neck and cause choking.
