WU-ES7 Electronic Countdown Ballast used in WU-UV water filtering systems. Water filtering systems which may include the WU-ES7 are: WU-UV100 WU-UV150 WU-UV200 WU-UV250 Affected units will have Part Number WU-ES7 printed on the ballast.
Why it was recalled
Affected ballasts may have a fault that can cause a short circuit. The ballast may activate an RCD when started or short circuit and emit smoke or sparks.
Hazard
There is a risk of serious injury or death from electrocution and risk of serious injury, death or property damage from fire.
