Recent tests in accordance with the Australian safety standard for ladders (AS/NZS 1982.1:1996) showed that the item failed to meet the requirements for ladders with the rated loading capacity of 150kg. The actual maximum safe loading capacity for the ladder is 120kg.
The products are being recalled due to a possible packaging failure, causing a small split to occur in some products.
