The dye used during the manufacture of the pocket lining of these jeans may have contained hazardous azo-colourants.
Hazard
Expert authorities classify these azo-colourants as carcinogens and recommend that exposure be minimised. While this dye is not banned for textiles use in Australia Myer is recalling these two styles of jeans.
