Why it was recalled
The products fail the requirements of the Consumer Goods (Decorative Alcohol Fuelled Devices) Safety Standard 2017. The products are missing a warning that advises consumers of the dangers of filling an alcohol fuelled device when it is lit. The product was also supplied without a fuel container with a flame arrester or an automatic fuel pump system.
Hazard
If the device is filled whilst lit, it can cause severe burn injuries to the user or possible death of the user. Fire may also cause property damage.
