Why it was recalled
The products are being recalled because the sand may contain asbestos, which is a prohibited substance in Australia.
Hazard
The products may cause a risk to health as initial testing in some samples found chrysotile asbestos and unidentified mineral fibres that could be consistent with tremolite asbestos.
