Recall updated: 30 April 2024 - sale dates for batteries extended. Various lithium button batteries. Batteries were sold in packs containing up to 5 batteries. CR2016 CR2025 CR2430 CR2450 CR2032

Why it was recalled

The button battery packaging does not have the correct warning symbols and wording.

Hazard

If young children gain access to button batteries and ingest them, they are likely to suffer severe internal burn injuries, which can result in serious injury or death. Button batteries also pose a choking hazard to young children.
