Why it was recalled
The melamine fork in the set can break when force is applied to the teeth of the fork. This can occur by either dropping the fork from height onto hard flooring or by applying hard pressure to the middle teeth of the fork.
Hazard
It’s a possibility that the defect may result in one or both of the middle teeth of the fork breaking off when sideways force is applied, which could result in a choking hazard for children.
