Brake discs for BMW, Alpina and Toyota vehicles from MY2001-MY2022. All product numbers ending in 25 are affected. Please see attached list of affected product numbers.
Why it was recalled
Due to a manufacturing defect, the affected brake discs may be missing rivets and cause the car to skid during braking or brake over a longer distance.
Hazard
Risk of serious injury or death to car occupants or pedestrians if the brakes do not operate effectively when the vehicle is required to stop abruptly or during an accident.
