Small plastic torch, with sliding power switch. Supplied as a prize at the Newcastle Show between 3-5 March 2023.
Why it was recalled
The product does not comply with the mandatory standard for products containing button/coin batteries . The torch has no warning label and the battery compartment is not secure.
Hazard
Consumers may be unaware that the product contains a button battery. If young children gain access to button batteries and ingest them, they are likely to suffer severe internal burn injuries, which can result in serious injury or death. Button batteries also pose a choking hazard to young children.
