Why it was recalled
Due to a batch-manufacturing fault, some of the plastic pegs and pins may detach and liberate small-parts. The letters being recalled do not comply with the mandatory safety standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age (Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 8124.1:2003, as amended by the regulation).
Hazard
If plastic pegs and pins dislodge during use, small parts may be liberated, presenting a potential choking hazard to young children.
