Sherpa 50 and Sherpa 120 Battery Packs

Product

The battery packs are rechargeable and are used for recharging cell phones and laptops. They utilize lithium-ion-iron-phosphate (“LiFePO4”) technology for the batteries. Identifying features description The Sherpa 50 products have a serial number starting with "S/N 11002." The Sherpa 120 products have a serial number starting with "S/N 11102."

Why it was recalled

The battery cells in Sherpa 50 and Sherpa 120 battery packs may overcharge, causing them to overheat, bulge, and release gas.

Hazard

Overheating batteries are a potential fire hazard.
