AUSTRALIAN PRODUCT RECALL

Selected 2017 1023E and 1025R Compact Utility Tractors

Published 13 December 2017

Product

Green and yellow compact utility tractors with “John Deere” and the model number printed on the hood.

Why it was recalled

The Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) retaining bolts may have been over torqued and stretched, which could cause the bolts to break.

Hazard

If a ROPS retaining bolt is not properly torqued or breaks, the ROPS may not maintain the operator zone of protection during a rollover. This may pose an injury risk to the user.
