Portable car ramps used for raising the front of a vehicle off the ground, to assist with vehicle maintenance or access.
Why it was recalled
The portable ramp was supplied without instructions for use and labelled markings on the product itself. The product does not comply with the labelling requirements of mandatory standard AS/NZS 2640:1994 Portable ramps for vehicles.
Hazard
Misuse of the portable ramp may occur as a result of missing instructions for use and labelled markings. As the ramps are used for raising the front of a vehicle off the ground, there is potential for a crushing hazard if the ramp is misused while a person is underneath the vehicle. This may result in serious injury or death.
