Why it was recalled
The Polygon Zenith Town 3.0 Beach Cruiser Bike does not comply with AS/NZS 1927:2010 Pedal bicycles—Safety Requirements, Consumer Protection Notice Section 2.1.14. The bike was sold with a rear brake only and not a front brake.
Hazard
If the rear brake were to fail, there is no additional brake to stop the bike, posing an accident hazard to the rider.
