Why it was recalled
The jack provided with the Nissan F16 Juke MY2020 does not comply with the mandatory standard for vehicle jacks 'Trade Practices Act 1974 Consumer Protection Notice No. 1 of 2010 Consumer Product Safety Standard for Vehicle Jacks'. The jack label does not include the required safety markings showing the model or model designations of vehicles for the jack's intended use (clause 7.1.2(b)). The jack is not labelled as being for the F16 Juke.
Hazard
The jack must not be used with vehicles other than the F16 Juke and absence of model designation may result in inappropriate use of the jack. Use with inappropriate vehicles may lead to a serious accident or death of a user if a vehicle collapses on them.
