Electronic control unit (ECU) used to modify vehicle performance. Suitable for installation in racing vehicles. Recalled models: Nexus S2 ECU Product code: HT-212000 Nexus S3 ECU Product code: HT-213000 Each unit has a unique 12-digit serial number which can be found on the label on the back of the product.
Why it was recalled
The bottom enclosure or base plate of the ECU is faulty, which can cause an internal electrical short circuit.
Hazard
A risk of burn injuries and vehicle damage as the ECU can catch fire. A risk of laceration injuries as the top enclosure of the ECU could also crack if the vehicle is in use and shoot out broken plastic materials.
