Why it was recalled
The ladder does not perform as claimed on the packaging and on the load rating label. Consumers may mistakenly rely on the claimed load rating of 150kg to decide whether it is safe for them to use. Recent testing has confirmed that the ladder has a load rating of 112.5kg.
Hazard
There is a possibility of a fall injury if the ladders fail while loaded with more than 112.5kg.
