Kawasaki general engines with voltage regulator (part no. 21066-0785), installed in select Hustler lawn mowers. Why it was recalled
The voltage regulator in affected Kawasaki general purpose engines, installed in Hustler lawn mowers can malfunction. The affected mowers can catch fire at any time, even if the engine is off or not in use.
Hazard
There is risk of fire, serious injury or death and/or damage to property if the voltage regulator malfunctions in affected Kawasaki general purpose engines.
