Plush toy sold as part of the Jamie's Garden range The recall affects all 8 characters in the range: Orange, Bean, Banana, Broccoli, Beetroot, Pear, Grape & Tomato. On 17/06/2014 a separate recall was initiated. The stalk of the bean character has an internal wire that has inconsistently finished ends that could pierce the fabric and become exposed. Identifying features description 781518 All eight characters are sold under the same reference number.
Why it was recalled
All eight characters may liberate stuffing during use and the hands and feet are small parts that are inadequately attached, presenting a potential choking hazard. In addition, the bean character incorporates a wire that may protrude through the fabric and cause puncture injuries.
Hazard
In the event that the stuffing or the hands & feet detach from the toys, they may present a choking hazard. In addition, the wire in the bean character could pierce the fabric and cause eye injuries or puncture wounds to small children.
