Why it was recalled
The sunglasses do not comply with the mandatory safety standard for sunglasses and fashion spectacles. Specifically, the sunglasses failed to comply with clause 2.2 (transmittance matching pairs of lenses) of the mandatory standard for sunglasses.
Hazard
The defects may affect the user's ability to judge the distance of objects, particularly moving objects. This has driving safety implications and may result in blurred vision and headaches.
