The affected component is the vented fuel tank that fits onto certain Hustler Turf and BigDog brand zero-turn riding lawnmower models and a riding greens mower. Identifying features description The following is a list of models supplied in Australia and serial number ranges that could have a potentially affected fuel tank: Hustler Turf Model (Serial Number Range): Sport (10120377 – 12054999) FasTrak (10121082 – 11120946) FasTrak Super Duty (10091717 – 11121566) Hustler X-ONE (10090765 – 12022041) Super Z (10109017 – 12054999) Hustler 1500 (10062845 – 11081604) BigDog Model (Serial Number Range): C Series (11031908 – 12054999) R Series (11021137 – 12054999) X Series (11039001 – 12054999) The model number and serial number appear on a tag that is normally located on the left side of the frame in front of the fender.
Why it was recalled
Certain fuel tanks fitted to the affected products were manufactured out of specification and could allow petrol to leak from the fuel tank.
Hazard
If the fuel tank leaks it may pose a fire hazard.
