Other identifiers are the words "Warning: Hot Water bottles can cause burns. Avoid prolonged direct contact with the skin." on the inside of the top of the hot water bottle.
Why it was recalled
The hot water bottles do not have the required safety warning permanently marked on them as per Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard) (Hot Water Bottles) Regulation 2008.
Hazard
Filling the hot water bottle with boiling water may result in it bursting during use, causing severe scalding.
