Published 10 July 2015

Product

Floating bean bag Identifying features description OU0031-R OU0031-B OU0031-Y OU0031-O

Why it was recalled

In contravention of the mandatory safety standard for bean bags, the zip on the bag does not have a child-resistant slide fastener and the text on the required safety warning label is smaller than permitted.

Hazard

The bag was supplied with a paper-clip attached to the zip carrier, potentially allowing access to the polystyrene beads by young children. Polystyrene beads pose a serious choking hazard to young children.
