Flood Tile & Laminate Paint Brush Cleaner & Thinners is for use clean-up (including of paint brushes) following use of tile and laminate paint, and for thinning that type of paint. The active ingredients are a solvent, naphtha (petroleum), and 1,2,4- Trimethylbenzene. The product is supplied in a cylindrical shaped tin 500 mL and 1L container. Why it was recalled
The child-proof cap may not be adequately secure and, in some cases, may be openable by a child.
Hazard
If the product is not stored out of reach of children as directed, young children may be able to open the container and come into contact with or consume its contents, which are poisonous and corrosive. Contact with the contents may result in injury or irritation to the skin and eyes, and to mucous membranes, respiratory tract and lungs in case of inhalation. Ingestion of the contents may result in poisoning injury or even death.
