The model number (FB503) is on the back of the device near where the band attaches. Fitbit is printed on the front of the Ionic Smartwatch.
Why it was recalled
The lithium-ion battery in the Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch can overheat.
Hazard
If the battery overheats while a user is wearing the device, it can pose a burn hazard.
