Recall updated - 24 October 2024: A new recall has been issued for this product as it is not safe if used for infant sleep and/or if bedding material is added when in use as the head rest and body support insert can increase the risk of suffocation. Please refer to PRA 2024/20329 . Fisher Price Dots and Spots Puppy Deluxe Swing Plug-in Adaptor Powered infant baby swing that can gently swing side-to-side or head-to-toe at adjustable speed. The swing can operate either with AC power or with batteries. The plug-in adaptor which was supplied with the swing is being recalled. Other Mattel/Fisher-Price products are not affected by this recall.
Why it was recalled
The swing was supplied with an overseas plug-in adaptor which is not designed for use in Australia.
Hazard
If used with an incompatible power source there is an increased risk of electric shock, which can cause serious injury or death.
