Why it was recalled
The product is not safe if used for infant sleep and/or if bedding material is added when in use as the head rest and body support insert can increase the risk of suffocation.
Hazard
There is a risk of serious injury or death from suffocation if the product is used for infant sleep and/or bedding material is added when in use. There have been reports overseas of deaths involving infants when other Snuga Swing models were used for sleep. In most of those incidents, the infants were unrestrained and bedding materials were added to the product.
