The dye used during the manufacture of these jeans may have contained hazardous azo-colourants

Expert authorities classify these azo-colourants as carcinogens and recommend that exposure be minimised. While this dye stuff is not banned for textiles use in Australia, in the interests of customers safety Rivers Australia is recalling these two styles of jeans.
