Continental ProContact GX AO tyres for passenger cars. Tyre size: 255/35R19 96H XL The Department of Transport (DOT) serial number starts with: CP32 WMC9 This can be found on the sidewall of the tyre near the rim. All date codes are affected.
Why it was recalled
The steel belt edges may begin to separate, which can lead to partial or full tread loss in the tyre.
Hazard
There is a risk of accident and serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users if tread separation occurs resulting in a loss of vehicle control.
