Why it was recalled
The product does not comply with the requirements of the mandatory standard 'Consumer Goods (Portable Ramps for Vehicles) Safety Standard 2017'. The ramps do not have sufficient roll-off or overloading protection and were not sold with the required instructions and safety markings.
Hazard
Misuse of the ramps may occur as a result of missing instructions and safety markings. There is potential for a crushing hazard if the ramps' roll-off or overloading protection fails, or the ramps are misused while a person is near or underneath the vehicle. This may result in serious injury or death.
