Custom-built foldable bicycle. Only the bicycles with 16 inch wheels are affected by this recall. Identifying features description All the Tikit bicycles with 16 inch wheels are affected by the recall. None of the Bike Friday bicycles with 20 inch wheels are affected.
Why it was recalled
The handlebar stem of the Tikit bicycle has a potential weak spot and can develop a crack. As a result, the handlebar stem may eventually separate from the bicycle.
Hazard
If the handlebar stem separates from the bicycle, the cyclist may lose control of the bike and crash.
