Bicycle Wheel Rim Tape

Plastic strip delivered free of charge with purchased cycling wheels. The rim tape is intended to cover the spoke holes in the rim to prevent the inner-tube from bursting when inflated. Identifying features description The rim tape is a yellow plastic strip that was provided for free with the purchase of FLO 60, FLO 90 and FLO DISC wheels. The number 700X18 A/V is printed on the tape. The serial number is located either on the wheel rim under the tube or on the outer edge of the disc wheel. Why it was recalled
The rim tape can fail and break under pressure.
Hazard
If the rim tape breaks, the inner-tube of the bicycle can puncture or burst, posing a fall hazard to the rider.
