Why it was recalled
The seams are not strong enough to prevent infants from gaining access to the polyester fill, as the toy does not meet the requirements of clause 5.24.6.2 Tension test for seams in soft-filled (stuffed) toys of the mandatory standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age (Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 8124.1:2003, as amended by the regulation).
Hazard
If infants gain access to the polyester fill inside the toy, they may attempt to ingest it and choke.
