Why it was recalled

Internal defects have been identified in the seatbelt anchorage bolts (specification 7/16UNF x38mm Grade 5 anchorage bolt) that may cause the bolt to crack in certain conditions. Hazard

If the seatbelt anchorage bolt fractures, the seat belt's performance could be compromised in a vehicle crash. In the event of a collision, there could be an increased risk of injury to occupants of the vehicle as a result.
