Why it was recalled
A manufacturing defect in the affected second-stage regulators can restrict the flow of breathing gas at depths exceeding 45 metres. The regulator may not deliver sufficient breathing gas when required.
Hazard
Risk of death or serious injury from asphyxiation if the regulator does not supply adequate air to a diver when used.
