Plastic caps used on a variety of portable plastic fuel containers manufactured by Venture BMW Pty Ltd. Identifying features description All caps used on 5lt, 10lt and 20lt plastic fuel containers sold under the brand names Adventure Products, SCA and Venture BMW during the period 01 December 2013 to 31 October 2014. This includes caps supplied on red containers for petrol fuel containers, yellow containers for diesel and green containers for 2-stroke fuel. Why it was recalled
In some circumstances, the screw cap may split when tightened or sealed.
Hazard
If the defect occurs, the contents may leak or spill, exposing consumers to hazardous fumes and posing a potential fire hazard.
